Very important game

On the day, we only had 11 players against 13 or 14 that Stockport had. This in many ways was very good for us. Instead of focusing on Stockport and how they are likely to play, we focused on what we need to do!

We started the game very well. We were calm and in control. They had a few chances. We defended fantastically and prevented them from scoring and we took our chances. Quarter 1 was 4-1 for us.

We knew they would come back which date it would be kept the damage to just one difference. It was an exciting quarter, but they were just one goal ahead in the quarter (3-4) but trailing us with two goals difference for the half (7-5).

They kept coming, and at the end of that quarter, it was nine all. However, we never panicked and we were enjoying our game.

Then came our final quarter. We took charge. We took control. We went ahead and kept calm. Final quarter score was 3-1 for us, which meant we beat them 12-10.

Great saves from Georgia throughout the game. Defence, especially in the first and fourth quarter did an amazing job. Midfield and attack did their job too. Great team performance. When we focus on what we need to do we play a good game of Lacrosse.
