Ladies v Hull

We enjoyed welcoming Hull to Timperley for the first time. It is a great testament to the growth of the game that Hull has joined the league this season. Given that most of their team is from Hull University, it also shows that they are a committed bunch too - organising 2 game days a week!

Timperley didn't know what to expect from this new team, so we came out with our usual fighting spirit. Hull answered Timperley’s early attacks with an early goal from a fast break, which certainly woke us up. We pressed on, making sure our shots found the back of the net before we could relax. Every player apart from our goalie Nina Ilhan scored a goal in this game. With special shout outs to: Elena Rink (an U18 who made her début for the senior women), as well as Emma Skobelski and Sally Boultbee, who are new to the club this season. They all scored their first goals for the team. We look forward to hearing more from these three and everyone else as the season progresses!
