Ladies v Brooklands

By the time the game started, the little frost that was on the pitch was gone. It was perfect playing surface. It was cold but at least dry. We had 11 players for our game today. We aimed to sub regularly to prevent a person on the side getting too cold.

Quarter 1. Another game where we started well. We controlled this quarter from the beginning till the end. We did not give them many chances and created enough chances for ourselves, to lead 5 - 1 by the end of the quarter.

Quarter 2. Much of the same as quarter one. We led by 8 - 1 by the end of the quarter.

Quarter 3. We started it well, but then Brooklands came back and were leading at one point with two goals. We took a time out and after that regained control and ended the quarter 5 - 4 ahead.

Quarter 4. We almost did it (not conceding a goal in a quarter) but just conceded a goal towards the end of the quarter. The final score of this quarter was 8 - 1 to us. Some of our combinations were great to watch. Everyone from defence to midfield to attack got involved in most of our goals scored in this quarter.

Final score was 26 - 7 to TLC Ladies.

Another great performance from the team. Everyone contributed towards this win. There are a few things we need to work on at training on Wednesday. We just need to continue playing like this at our remaining games.
