Ladies v Stoke

Weather gods were kind to us on Saturday. Once the game finished the rain started and did not stop much till Sunday morning.

We had 14 players, which allowed a good rotation of players during the game. Stoke had only 10 players and this was another point to our advantage.

We were in control of all the quarters. Quarter one and quarter to we had a lot of turn arounds and fast breaks that Stoke had no response to. Quarter 3 was more even and in Quarter 4 we were back in charge.

We defended very well and did not give them many chances throughout the game. Nina in goal made some good saves when needed. When we turned the ball around, especially in quarter one and two, our fast brakes were lethal. In the third and fourth quarter, there was more settled play around their goal rather than fast breaks. We moved the ball well and were patient.
