Ladies v Leeds (Double Header)

This game was due to be played at Timperley. However, due to the condition of our pitch, we had to move the game to Leeds at the last moment. After our long journey to Hull the previous week, we had to go to Leeds this time. The weather was dry and Leeds were very hospitable.

We were due to have 12 players for the home game, but due to the switch we lost two and had only 10 players.

It was tough going for a second week running not having any subs. All our players did really well, but in the second half the last two weeks caught up with us. Overall, a controlled and committed performance from all on the pitch. Leeds have some great players and made it difficult for us. We dealt very well with them in defence and Georgia made some great saves too. We rotated players in different positions to give some rest to tiring legs. In attack we work and combine well.
