Ladies v Stockport

The weather wasn't bad and the pitch was in good condition at Stockport. Conditions for a good and competitive game of Lacrosse. For a change, we had 12 players. Subs at last!

We need to believe in ourselves and our our abilities. Today we didn't do this and paid the price against a good Stockport side. Had we had a better mental attitude, I think we could have beaten Stockport today.

Quarter 1. Slow start and allowed Stockport to get to us. Score 1 - 3 for Stockport.

Quarter 2. Much closer contest and not many chances for both sides. Score 0 - 1 for Stockport.

Quarter 3. Played much better and were gaining momentum. Had we played like this the whole game, the result would have been different. Towards the end allowed Stockport to get back a bit. Score 2 - 2.

Quarter 4. Allowed Stockport to take control. Missed a few chances and our heads went down a bit. Score 1 - 4 for Stockport.

Final score was 10 - 4 for Stockport.
