Ladies v Brooklands

Could the weather get any worse? No, we can have sunshine sometimes when the game is on! It rained the whole of Friday night and a bit on Saturday morning, but come game time on 11:30 it was sunny and the Astro pitch looked great. What a relief.

We had 11 players (no known goalies!), which allowed for a good rotation during the game, since Brooklands only had 8 and we played down to 8. Having subs was a great advantage for us.

We were in control of all the quarters, but Q2 and Q3 Brooklands made it hard for us. Q1 and Q4 we were in control.

We defended very well and did not give them many chances throughout the game. Elise (1st half) and Henny (2nd half) made some good saves when needed. Most of the time we moved the ball well and but some of our ball controls is something we need to work this Wednesd.

Overall a great team performance.
