Timperley U16A – V – Stockport U16
The game today was dominated by our attackers and middies. After the face off time and again we gained possession, got the ball to goal and scored. The Stockport defence was very weak and let ball after ball through. Saying that, the Stockport goalie was pretty good and managed to save quite a number of shots. The scoreline could have been much higher. At the beginning of the game we seemed to be a bit too desperate to score and there were a few shots that were from either too far out and got saved or missed the target. However, when Stockport did manage to get hold of the ball we showed that that our defence too was quite weak today. Maybe it was because, in general, our defence had so little to do and got bored in between the small bursts of action. Maybe something to work on as a team.
